If we are to construct a building from the ground up, our preference is to design a building that would be reminiscent of an old fashioned fire station. The building will be designed with future growth in mind.  Our concept for the design of the Firefighters Museum of Dutchess County is seen to the right.

 

We propose that the building will have two bays to showcase the apparatus. In addition, there will be an office area, presentation room and rest rooms.

 

The board is also considering acquiring a structurally sound existing building which may require proper modifications to suit our needs. We are actively following up on prospective locations for the museum.
